ANOTHER DREARY DAY

Another day like all the rest,
Ever since my last arrest,

Felonies, one after another,
Convicted and sentenced, like all the others,

I guess I should be thankful that I'm
Not on death row, waiting my time,

If you've got your health you've got everything
They say, but to me my freedom would bring

Meaning to every day that I spend
In a world that has no acceptable end.
