The now defunct Milwaukee Road
Had a sidetrack out east of the town,

Where a westbound train was to take siding,
Letting an eastbound safely around,

The westbound engineer forgot
He was ordered to stop and head in,

The eastbound, coming around a blind turn
Was soon bearing down on him,

Too late for either of them to stop,
Immovable object and irresistible force

Came together like cymbals crashing,
The Grim Reaper did his thing, of course.
