BE NICE ON ICE

Some motorists, when they're stuck on ice
Tend to floorboard the cotton-picking thing,

Rev their engines up, spin their wheels and succeed
In losing all of the traction snow tires bring,

Why can't they see that a small amount of traction
Would be better than none at all?

With the car in "Drive," engine just above idle,
They would keep from driving me up the wall.
