I always called her, "Cotton Jenny" --
That favorite sweetheart of mine,

She was the sweetest cotton-picking cotton picker
That ever came down the line,

I can't remember, but I think I first saw her
Picking only unrotten bolls,

If she had been an automobile
She'd surely have been a Rolls,

The last I saw of that fair, young maid
She was walking down a deep-southern aisle

Wearing a virgin-white cotton dress
And a rosy Georgia peach-type smile.
