DON'T OUTGROW CHRISTMAS

Our time to see the splendor vast
Thru eyes of childhood quickly passed,

With eyes of wisdom now we view,
But can we share the wonder too?

That hides before our clouded sight,
So clear in children's Holy Night,

Perceive in all the subtleties,
Good will to men and Christmas trees

Contain a chance to catch anew
The thrill we felt at three or two,

Though Christmas Past was Christmas Pleasant,
A child knows only Christmas Present.
