FISHER'S HORNPIPE

It starts off briskly in a Major key,
Runs thru it twice, (I wish it were three),

Then it lapses into a Minor key
And goes 'round, and 'round, somewhat mournfully,

It stays in the Minor for a long, long time,
Keeps your ear just slightly off balance,

You find yourself longing for the Major's return --
And would cause it if you had the chance,

At last, a return to the Major chord --
You're not left crying in your beer,

If you, like I, rejoice in the music
And are ready for midis -- CLICK HERE.
