Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin Jr.
Were the first and second men on the moon,

They had little effect on young brides-to-be's choices --
Their preference was still a wedding in June,

With very little effort Neil and Buzz cavorted --
Jumping higher than a dik-dik from Africa,

One-fifth of Earth's gravity hardly held them down --
They dropped like a sprinkle of paprika,

Basking in the cool of the earthshine they were --
Maybe thinking of that "Shine on" harvest tune,

They'll be perfectly preserved until the end of time --
The astronauts' footprints on the moon.
