The British had some zebras,
They had a donkey too,

They put them in together, thinking
No hanky-panky would ensue,

One female zebra came to term
And delivered, to zoo keepers' shocks,

An offspring resembling a donkey,
But wearing horizontal striped socks,

They didn't know what to call it,
Part zebra and part jackass,

So they put the names together
And called the little guy "Zackass."
